Penelope the Dog needs a home
Hi! My name is Penelope, aka Nelly, and I am the sweetest gal around! I'm a young girl, around 1 - 2 years old, and am an awesome weight at around 35-40 pounds. My foster mom says I'm the perfect small-medium size! I am a very playful gal and I love everyone and every dog I meet. I am a little angel with foster mom around, and I only chew on things I should chew on, but if left unattended I can be a little mischevious! Foster mom crates me when she is not around and I don't mind, especially when she leaves me a good, safe chew toy to keep me Busy!
I do well in a fenced in yard and just romp around and play with my foster siblings. I do okay walking on leash but still have some manners to learn! I am going to make someone that wants a confident, athletic, and very loving companion the happiest person in the world! Foster mom calls me a shadow dog because I like to be with her wherever she goes! I almost went in the shower with her once but then decided it wasn't worth it lol!
My best friend at my foster home is Marge! I would love to be adopted with her or at least to a home with other dogs! I really enjoy the company and since I have a lot of energy it would help out my forever family as well! I have met my foster moms nine year old niece and eleven year old nephew and I just love them to pieces! Kids are fun, especially the older ones that want to play with me and understand that I'm a puppy! I let them lay all over me and I love every second of it!
I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and on my monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. I am heartworm negative and have been dewormed! My adoption fee is $225!
